Questions clients ask us

Is the first meeting free?

Yes. The first meeting costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We use it to understand the business, what you need to raise or decide, and your timeline, and to tell you honestly whether we are the right firm for it.

How are your fees structured?

It depends on the work. Capital raises usually combine a monthly retainer with a success fee paid at financial close. Feasibility studies, models and valuations are normally fixed-fee. Every mandate starts with a fee letter that sets out each component before work begins.

What kinds of clients do you work with?

Corporates, institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals, from large listed groups to smaller owner-managed businesses. Most of our work has been in property, financial services, infrastructure, tourism, healthcare and renewable energy.

Which investors and lenders do you approach?

Pension funds, asset managers, local and international banks, development finance institutions, insurance funds and corporates. Which ones we approach depends on the size, sector and risk profile of the deal.

Do you work on sustainable and ESG-linked transactions?

Yes. We raise green and blue finance, manage sustainability rating processes, run life-cycle assessments and help sponsors build the ESG frameworks and impact reporting that DFIs and impact investors require.

Do you only work in Botswana?

We are based in Gaborone and most of our clients are in Botswana, but we also advise on transactions elsewhere in Southern Africa and the wider continent.

Will you keep our information confidential?

Yes. Everything you share is treated as confidential, and we sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving detailed information whenever you ask.

Have a live mandate to discuss?

The first meeting is free and confidential. Tell us what you are working on and we will reply within one business day.
